Every year, my town partners with our local Rotary Club to host a State of the Town Address, where the mayor gives an update on current events and where the town is heading. This year's message was focused on organizational unity moving forward, where the Mayor highlighted the volunteer and staff organizations around town that contribute to our common ease of living.

After the Address, I had the opportunity to greet several Commissioners and enjoyed constructive conservations with candidates running in the Primary election.

And, for the first time in the four years I've attended State of the Towns, I finally had the pamphlet with the gold star sticker that meant I got to bring home the table boquet centerpiece.
